Safe nutrition for dogs

Are dairy products, any fruits and all vegetables ok to feed my dogs?

Answer from Dr. Gaylord Brown:
Dogs typically become lactose intolerant after they are weaned. So milk is poorly tolerated. However, cheese and yogurt are well liked and good for dogs. Most fruits and vegetables, in small amounts, are good for dogs. Notable exceptions are grapes, mushrooms, onion powder, macadamia nuts, and large pits from fruit. This is not an exhaustive list; so please check on individual foods by a Google search of “toxic foods for dogs”.
