I’ve tried a dozen brands of canned food but she gets diarrhea and will not eat kibble. Is my recipe sufficient?

I make enough meatloaf to last 2months and freeze it. She loves it! Chicken, rice, lean beef or buffalo, carrots peas and sweet potatoes, mashed garbanzo beans, chia, blue berry, cranberry, and peas and fish oil. She has firm stool and gobbles it up. She’s a mini labradoodle and she gets 1 &1\2 to 1 1\3 cups a day. Is she missing anything? She just won’t eat commercial food.

It appears your dog has some specific food allergies that you have been able to avoid by making this homemade diet. From the information you provide I cannot guarantee it is nutritionally complete. However, with the addition of a daily multi vitamin and mineral supplement you could insure complete nutrition. Calories are obviously not a problem if she is maintaining her weight. There are some very good vitamin mineral supplements on the market, such as Pet Tabs or Pet Form.
