Recently my cat who is about one year old had her second liter of kittens. They are coming on three weeks old. Yesterday, my cat was looking sick and her meow was crackly. Someone let her outside yesterday morning, and she hasn’t come back which is unusual considering the fact that she has 5 kittens here and whenever she goes outside is back within 1-2 hours. We have a littler cat who is a couple months old and who happens to be a kitten from her first liter. She got sick first, and was acting the same way her mom is acting now. I was just wondering if it was normal for a mom cat to leave her babies when she’s sick? And will she come back?
