18 month Chocolate Lab – can’t break his “alpha” nature

Our 18 month old lab attacked our maltese last night, severely wounding him. He is in ICU and may lose both eyes and has a punctured main artery. He almost bled to death. Our lab has bitten all of us, including two children not in our family. Zeus I a beautiful dog, very friendly and obedient, but unpredictably territorial. we can’t even board him now because he growls and shows teeth to anyone but me. I love this dog, but I can’t keep him because I fear he will attack my kids and other dog again. I don’t know what to do.
