I have a question about… pupp eats poop
Hi Doc. I have 4 dogs my question is about my new German Shepard pupp she is now 8 mts old, she will not stop eating her poop, she has also waited for the other dogs to poop, she will eat that too. I have tried all of the methods know to me and still she will continue to eat her poop and all the other dog as well even hot sauce did not stop her. What should I do I am currently giving her Vitamin B I was told that may help no such luck here.
I have a question about…seizures
Enter your question here My dog has seizure activity for 2 & 1/2 yrs. and is taking phenabarb. Is there anything else I can do to prevent seizure activity. Thank you.
Possible acl tear
A month ago our 9 yr. old mixed dog came up on three legs. Four yrs ago she tore her acl and had surgery to repair it. Our vet seems to think she tore the other leg. He did no X-ray, just an exam and wanted to do surgery again. I chose to put her on Rimadyl and very limited activity. She seems just fine now. Any ideas as to her injury and should we continue this conservative therapy.? Thank you.
Loose stools
My two 12 year old chihuahuas have loose stools. I’ve been to the vet twice and they don’t have any parasites or worms. They use a heartworm pill that kills all worms including hookworms and whipworms so I assume they don’t have them even though they’re hard to find. The vet says it’s stress colitis, they’re afraid of storms. I give them Kaopectate every few days and it works for a couple of days but is there something healthier that may help? Thank you…..
Pinworms and dogs?
I have heard conflicting information about this and I would like to know if dogs can get pinworms and if they can transmit them to other family members. Thank you.

I see many abandoned horses in my area. Can horses live on grass and water alone?
cats to calm them down
What can I give 2 cats to calm them down. They are afraid of everyone, but will come out to eat. They can get in the dropped ceiling, do not want handled. I have found a cat rescue that will take them, but I need to get them into the carriers. I am 82 and it is not easy. They need to be around people, they are very sweet but don’t want handled. They are only 3 years old, spayed, all their shots, never been out side since then. Thank you.
I have a question about…bordetella
I do titers on all three of our dogs. Our vet was requiring my dogs to have the nasal form of Bordetella every 6 months, so that I could have them groomed there, or boarded when necessary. He has now gone with the injection form of Bordetella, which he says last for 1yr.. I do not like giving any extra vaccines! Is this exceptable or should I resist having this done. My dogs are all small, do not go to dog parks and are not around other dogs. Just want to know what I should do. Thank you, Tena
dealing with loss of best friend
Since you must fall in love with so many animals at the super sanctuary — how do you deal with a death. It must be so hard to say goodbye to so many. Many of those animals may have spent their entire life with you.
