Kitty Sapphire is 2 years old and has bad litter box habits. From day one when I adopted her from the local shelter she began using the shower to urinate and defecate, and I managed to get her to use her box. Since then she sporadically uses the shower and recently began urinating on a carpet area due to stress of traveling. I don’t believe she has a UTI as she only consumes no grain moist kitty food and has water always on hand and she does get to the vet once a year. This is a frustrating problem that needs resolve rather than to continue to cover the carpet area with plastic sheeting.
