Potty Training

Hello Dr. Brown~ I have a 17 week old puppy and have had her for 2 weeks now. I am very consistant about constantly taking her outside to go potty but she still goes potty in the house. She also seems to go quite often. She had a vet visit and is all healthy. I have had many puppies in the past and have never had this stubborn potty training. :)
Any suggestions? Oh, she is deaf as well so getting her attention sometimes is challenging.
Thank you in advance for your help! :)

I had a deaf dalmatian while in college, so I know your frustration. She eventually learned sign language and became quite willing to keep an eye on me! House training will require more patience and persistence than with most puppies. Remember to take her out every time she eats. Praise heavily with stroking when she goes to the bathroom. Do not leave her unattended in the house. If she starts to urinate scoop her up quickly and take her outside. Being deaf, you lack the ability to scold from afar, so quick action is required. She will catch on, how lucky she is to have you!

Thank you Dr. Brown! I will keep working at it. She is an amazing puppy/dog and already knows some hand signs that I have been working on with her. Very smart and though very active, such a love!
Again, thank you for your work and help.
