nutrition for multiple dogs

I have 4 dogs. they;re all family, mom, ad, & 2 left of litter – all bichon frises. the mom’s 7, dad’s 8+ & the “pups” are almost 4. my question is i want to incorporate joint health into the older ones diet including food & vitamins. is it ok for the younger ones to eat this stuff? i know it will contain glucosamine & chondroitin, …. i just don’t want to start them too early if it will have adverse effect on younger ones.
