I have a male doberman, 2 yrs. and 3 months old. He was neutered at 8 months of age. I don’t recall exactly when I began noticing it, but at some point his nipples became more prominent and looked like a female dog’s. I was using HRT administerd with creams that i applied to my face and I suspected thatthe strogen crem might be getting on fabrics in the home and he was picking them up vicatiously, causing his nipples to exhibit as feminine. I stopped using the cream about a year ago because of that suspicion but he has retained prominent nipples, although perhaps slightly less than before. I also recall having the passing thought that his testicles seemed small to me before he was neutered but that was also a thought that i had only after his neutering. He is healthy and well bred otherwise. The only issue he has had since he was a puppy was a sensitive digestive system. He was put on Hill’s prescription I.D. for the past 1 1/2 years and he tolerates that well. Any attempts to stray from the diet results in upset stomach and diarrhea. I got this dog as a puppy very quickly after losing my previous doberman to cardiomyopathy at the age of 7. I was devastated and emotionally exhausted. That accounts for some of my foggy attentiveness to details during my firwst year with my current boy. His name is Gubbio.
