The main reasons a dog may itch are parasites, allergies, or seborrhea. Parasites can be treated with dips, sprays, and spot on treatments. Allergies are treated with testing to define the allergy, hypo-sensitization therapy, prednisone, and medicated baths. Seborrhea is treated with dietary supplements and medicated shampoos.
