I have a question about…small lump on chest

Hello Dr. Brown,
I have three Boston Terriers I love very much. I have recently noticed a lump the size of a penny on one of the males “Gizmo” chest and my female “Allie” has one about the same size on her neck below her ear. Should I be concerned and take them to the vet? I am disabled and live on a very limited income. Can you recommend a good vet around Littleton Colorado? Thank you.

I do not know a veterinarian In Littleton but the best way to find a good veterinarian is to ask your friends and neighbors who they use. I would recommend these lumps on Gizmo and Allie be examined to find out how serious they are. There are generally civic groups that help people on a need basis with the expense of caring for their pets.
I have a 9 yr old boston terried with the same symptoms. she has a small penny sized soft lump on her chest by her left leg and one on her back by her back left leg. the back left leg isnt as big as the chest one. she also has been going into these breathing attacks, kinda like asthma which she sometimes would do but its getting to be almost everyday. she is a little overweight too because she sleeps on the couch from 8-5 m-f with me and my bf being at work. we have 2 other dogs she plays with alot but and we try to take her on walks but she just cant really do it anymore, probably age im hoping. i am going to take her to the vet but i wanna prepare myself for the worst. do boston terries at this age get lumps? its not hard at all, it feels like a small water balloon under her skin, very very soft. Thanks in advance
