I have a question about… sick kitten
Hello Pet Vet and thank you for answering my question.
I have adopted (in a sense) some cats that wont let me near them, but I feed them. They are multiplying and one set of kittens from one of the mothers, all had eye infections/upper respiratory infections (including the mother) which I treated to the best of my means, with tetracycline mixed with water and stirred in their food (they wouldn’t always drink the water it was in) that I had bought at the farm store. (I’m on a fixed income and can’t afford a vet) I also put eye antibiotic ointment in the eyes of the kittens I could catch. My question is, all but one kitten have made great improvements. The one that remains to seem ill also shakes. I had thought it was just scared when I had caught it the one time and treated its eyes, but now that I watch it outside, he still shakes. I believe they are about 10-12 weeks old now, and their mother has definitely told them to be scared of me at this point. No catching them now. I continue to put the antibiotic in the food as they still have a bit of sneezing and watery eyes, but the little guy that shakes worries me. There are more and more Toms hanging around now also and I cannot afford to feed even more cats so I am going to have to look into some agency to help trap some of these kitties. I just worry what an agency would do with them as they are not tame.
Thank you for your time, and I LoVe watching your show. Thank you for being a kind and gentle, animal loving man!

The trembling may be related to an infection in the central nervous system. You definitely need to seek help treating these cats. The little, trembling kitten needs medical attention immediately.
