I have a question about…seizures
Enter your question here My dog has seizure activity for 2 & 1/2 yrs. and is taking phenabarb. Is there anything else I can do to prevent seizure activity. Thank you.

Potassium bromide is another medication used to prevent seizures in dogs. Some dogs may require both medications to control seizures. Other pets require only one. The bromide seems to have less adverse effects on the liver. Any change in seizure medication should be done under the supervision of a veterinarian.
