I have a question about…quality of cat food
I am the VP of a small no-kill cageless cat shelter in Massachusetts. We are looking for guidelines on the quality of food to give our cats – the specific nutritional breakdown to look for when reading labels to select the best quality that we can. Can you give me some direction?

We presently feed Blue Buffalo Healthy Living adult and kitten food for the dry and Felidae canned food. Both have their labels available online where you can view the nutritional content. Certainly other foods can approach these values. We try to avoid foods with animal by products as a major ingredient, corn and multiple protein sources.
