This virus is a mutation from a cat virus, but it now only affects dogs. Aggressive treatment is required to save these dogs. It is my hope you can get assistance and/or financing to save your dog. Home treatment is notoriously unsuccessful due to the severe nausea and diarrhea which cause dehydration and the fatal drop in white blood cells making the dog helpless to fight the infection. Rarely a dog has been saved at home using forced fluids and nutrition. This is extremely rare and not fair to your pet.
