I have a question about.my dog whining when she beens down to pick up a toy..
My dog is part bordie collie german sheppard and is 8 years old. She has always been fairly active but recently she whines when she moves her neck or is pulled on by a leash. She is hesitant to jump up or down.

She may have some spinal arthritis or disc problems. Have her examined and get some X-rays of her spine. There are many drug therapies available to help these conditions.
