I have a question about…my cat has an obsession with chewing plastic

My 10 year old female cat is obsessed with chewing plastic, especially plastic grocery bags. Pieces of plastic come out in her vomit and stool from time to time. I have asked vets if she has some kind of vitamin deficiency which makes her crave plastic. They think it’s behavioral. She has done this for years and is normal otherwise. What do you think?

I agree this this a behavioral problem. I would try to keep these things away from your cat and offer safe chew toys as it may cause an intestinal obstruction one day.
