I have a question about…Labrador with Nasal Cancer
My 15 year female labrador has Nasal Cancer and is on Chemo (75 mg of Palladia and 10 mg Piroxicam and 100mg Tramadol for pain).
She’s been on these meds for 45 days and it seems that the meds may be becoming ineffective as her nasal swelling is back and she is sounding like she has a bad, stuffy cold and nose bleeds again. She is still eating twice a day and walking twice a day. I’ve read that hemp oil can me made and can cure cancer in people but what doses and side effects are there for dogs? I am working to save money for radiation which is at least 4 months away if it works but if I could start her on Hemp oil and it would cure her…I’d be for it here in Oregon. Do you have any info on whether Hemp Oil will work for dog cancer?
Please help. I’ve had my dog “Kella”, meaning “girl” in Sinhalese the language in Sri Lanka) for 11 years and she and I are willing to fight for her life.

At the sanctuary, we use hemp oil at a dose of 1 teaspoon per day with all of our cancer patients. We also use turmeric at a dose of 2000 mg twice daily. These are used as additional, supportive therapy for cancer, not as a cure. Chemo will provide you with additional time with Kella but will not cure the cancer. This is a very difficult time for you both, but try to smile and be happy for every moment that you still have her. It is important for her to feel that emotionally “all is well”, so she can remember the good times, when she was young and healthy

I have been watching a video where they use high levels of THC
(Indica strain)made into oil to cure cancer for people. I know you use the THC via giving Hemp Oil not as a cure but my question is would I be harming my dog with high doses of THC ( like 1 teaspoonful of Indica Hemp Oil? In certain youtube videos where dogs are given THC the dogs cannot even stand and look drunk(some are crying). I really want to try this oil with my dog but don’t want to hurt her either. What do you think?
Also, because the Palladia seems to have lost it’s efficiency, I am switching to Mastinib for Chemo…..have you had any positive results with that drug?
To have a shot at really curing her cancer…….is my only option radiation treatment?
Any thoughts would be helpful.
