I have a question about…hip dysplasia

i have a cane corso that was diagnosed with hd when he was 12 months…I bought him from a great breeder…excellent bloodlines, both parents tested, but unfortunetly he developed it…he is almost 3 now and is limping quit a bit…my question is when it comes time for a hip replacement, is there anyway of getting financial help??…I just dont have that kind of money…he’s so young and i want him to live a full life.

    A hip replacement is determined by the amount of pain your dog is experiencing. Have you tried medications and moderate exercise to control the discomfort. We would use a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory, glucosamine and chondroitin, hemp oil, and adequan injections. If still painful we would add tramadol. Financial assistance varies greatly from area to area but generally does not cover such a surgery.
