My elderly cat needs to gain weight. He was having trouble keeping his food down. But now he is on cerenia and his appetite has improved. He is keeping his food down, most of the time. However, he is still too thin. He really isn’t gaining any of his weight back. I can feel his bones when I pet him. Any ideas on how to fatten him up a bit? I have been feeding him as much can food as he wants. Dry food is always available in a continuous feeder.
He will be 15 in Jan. TC is a Maine Coon who use to be a healthy 18 lbs. He now weighs 13 lbs.
