I have 20 cats all fixed and after fighting with my neighbors for the first 2 years of their existence they have settled down now that they know I bring my cats in at night, they are all fixed and all shots are up to date. My cats are all related to each other – some people are slow – like me – to wake up to the fact they need to be fixed.
I was looking at the little house and cat walks you have I the video and am thinking I would like to fence in my inner yard like you have and to get them to not miss their freedom to build the little pathways in the air like you have, I would still have a window into the home but know they would enjoy sleeping outside at night if they could and would make me happy that they were safe from other animals and my neighbors would be happy also.
My question is – is there anyway I could get a copy of the plans that you have? I have some chain link but am not sure how to make the ceiling or build the little homes and pathways in the air.
Answer from Dr. Gaylord Brown:
Thank you for noticing how well our resident cats live. Definitely have all of your cats spayed and neutered as soon as they are 6 months old! Regarding the plans for our cat house enclosure, I will forward your request to our administrative office.
Leo Grillo commented on your question:
There are no plans — it’s all from my head. Chain link the top and sides, put bottom rail on the bottom of the fence. The walkways were my design too — but you can build similar. We used Apetong — a hard wood from South East Asia. You can get another hardwood.
