I have a question about…canned dog food
My puppy was almost 2 before she was toliet trained and she can go 1/2 day and up to 6hrs before she pees. I switched to canned food and now she goes all the time. Is canned food good as a complete meal. I using Evangers and I never saw her eat so fast. My other 2 Cavaliers eat dry( Prairie)and doing great and it’s the only dry my puppy likes…well she’s 20mos old.

From a strict nutritional standpoint, the only difference between canned and dry food is water. If there is a higher salt content in the canned food you are feeding it may make your dog drink more water and need to urinate more. We typically feed some of each type of food, as the dogs do consider the canned food to be a bit of a delicacy.
