cancer tumors in dogs
Posted By tdomf_d6e07 On April 9, 2012 @ 3:45 AM In Ask the Vet,Tumors & Cancer | 1 Comment
My elderly beagle developed an enormous tumor behind and under her right front leg—-practically overnight. It is about 5″ x 6″!
Verified as cancer, one vet told us to keep her comfortable and dispensed lasix and prednisone. Another vet said he thought it was attached to the rib cage and he could probably remove it but, of course, with no guarantees.
Our human family has personal experience (happily, a successful one) with hemp oil. We are willing to give it a try with Dorothy. We think she is about 12 years old (we found her in the road in the woods where we live – someone had “dumped” her). We love her and will do whatever we can to help her.
We are unsure about “dosage”, frequency, oral or topical, etc. Can you provide us with some guidance?
