I have a question about burrowing

Hello Dr. Brown, I am a RN with a pack of beautiful Chihuahuas (really just 3). I know that the breed loves to burrow and all three love to dive under the covers at night. My concern is how are they getting enough oxygen especially during the winter and heavier blankets? Could there be any damage caused? Thank-you for your response.

    Great question! I have never heard this addressed, nor can I say with absolute certainty that it may not be a problem. However, I have also never seen in any literature nor heard at any seminar where this is a problem
