I have a question about…

I have a female cat (age 9) who urinates standing up against the back of the litter box. Naturally, it all goes over the top of the box even tho it is high backed. She never bothers trying to “cover it”, just walks in, turns around and pees and walks out. When it hits the side of the box it sounds like a pipe has burst and obviously leaves one big mess of urine running down even the outside of the box – HELP!
