feeding my cat shrimp
feeding my cat shrimp: my cats love shrimp, is it ok tofeed it to them for dinner everynight as long as i have dry food available to them? i have heard that it can create a level of toxicity if feed to much.

Feeding shrimp as you are doing is not the best nutritional plan for your cats. Seafood is too high in manganese levels which may lead to urinary tract problems. Further, they will not eat enough of the dry food to keep a balanced diet. I do not even recommend the prepared canned food that are predominately seafood on a regular basis due to the number of problems associated with it.
