I have a rescued feral Turkish Angora cat
I have a rescued feral Turkish Angora cat who spent first 5 weeks in bathroom, fed wet food only. After six months, now very affectionate with me, still gobbles food; when I have tried dried food, swallows kibbles whole, so I only give him occasional soft treats which I break up and feed him from my hand. Still can’t pick him up, and he hides when anyone comes, but he’s gradually beoming more socialized.
My question is – is it OK to just feed him wet food (I vary IAMS, WELLNESS, etc) or if dry food could be added between meals, OK to swallow whole?

From a nutritional standpoint the only difference between dry and canned food is water. Some cats will eat dry food too fast and this may lead to regurgitation. For these cats, it is important not to feed too much dry food.
