how often to vaccinate

I have a puppy that I need to vaccinate, I have 2 other dogs that are 4 and 2 that I have vaccinated every year. I have read on the internet that vaccinations can last up to 3 years, I would like to know if that is true? I also live in Canada so I don’t know if the vaccines are the same.

  • Dr. Gaylord Brown:

Current research indicates vaccines last at least 3 years. We vaccinate puppies with a series of three vaccinations. We give a booster to the dog when it turns a year old. After that, we vaccinate every three years. I suspect the vaccines in Canada are similar to ours
