How much would i be looking at to spay
Question I have a 1 year old Cat (female) that just had 5 Kittens, I want to get her Spayed, How much would i be looking at to spay her and one of her kittens? She has not been vaccinated, So im guessing that will be necessary as well. Thanks! – C

Cost for veterinary care is extremely variable. Most communities have public agencies that can assist with the cost of routine care such as spaying and 1. Specific cost questions should be directed to your local veterinarians. Your local veterinarian can also refer you to assistance organizations
There dozens of assisted spay neuter programs (SPOT, SpayUSA). Some shelters will offer low income surgery to people who capture animals and fix them (I did this once with a local humane society).
I HIGHLY suggest you fix all of the offspring before placing them (then, charge the new owners the cost of the spay/neuter). This will insure that the next generation doesn’t contribute to the overpopulation problem of cats.
