How do I know if my 8 year old dog is pregnant? I recently got her and I’m not sure if she is.

Gestation is only 58 to 63 days, so if you have had her longer than that and she was not bred while you have owned her, then she could not be pregnant. If you have owned for a shorter period of time, there are blood tests that can detect pregnancy, Xrays can detect puppies if the pregnancy is past 45 days, or ultrasound can detect pregnancy in earlier stages.
