heartwarm testing
I give my dogs heartworm medication every month on the same day each month. My vet is always making me get a heartworm test done every year. Is is really necessary if I never miss a dose?

Theoretically, no this should not be required. However, due to apparent resistance developing due to others inappropriately administering the medication this is probably good medical technique.
