There are a host of products designed to clean your pet’s mouth and teeth without brushing. They are divided into 2 categories. First, there are enzymatic cleaning chews. These chews release an enzyme when they get wet that aids in removing and preventing plaque. One such product is CET Chew Strips. Second, there are biscuits or treats that help to physically remove plaque and tartar when they are bitten through, Crunch ‘n Clean is one such treat . I do not care for greenies; they were reformulated to reduce digestion problems, but I prefer other products. Keep in mind that at some point regardless of what product you use or how often you brush, your pet’s teeth will need to be professionally cleaned.
