cats

Hello, just 2 quick questions, I had my kitten to the vet, he gave her a worm shot, I noticed the other day, rice looking worms in her stool, I know I will have to take her back to the vet, but I have 3 other cats in the house and I was wondering will they get these worms too? Also I have 2 ferals cats outside, they have lived on my property for 6 years, a brother and sister, they are both fixed and they are cared for very well, my female ahs been missing for 8 days now, she was only friendly to me and my husband,we have searched everywhere, called local shelters. Do you have any idea what would make her just go away? We are heartbroken ):

The worms you describe are tapeworms. They are spread by fleas. Your other indoor cats are at risk. The feral cats can be a source of fleas and parasites. Outdoor cats are at risk of many perils. It is unlikely she would have just gone away; I fear something unfortunate may have occurred. We recommend a safe enclosure for feral cats.
