can a dog’s bladder fall out?

I have a 13 yr.old pure bred yellow lab. She had one litter at age three and was fixed a few years later. she is now 13 and it looks like she has a tumor or testicle with a slit where she voids urine. My friend is an OB/GYN and she looked at it and said it was her bladder. It has dropped out. She said it is not bothering her and not to worry.
I had her in to a temp. vet for a different problem and he said he had never heard of a bladder dropping out like that. What do you think it could be? She does not seem bothered by it, and urinates just fine.

This sounds like hyperplasia of the vaginal floor or a vaginal tumor. I do not believe this to be a dropped bladder. I have successfully treated vaginal hyperplasia with progesterone. You definitely need to pursue definitive diagnostics; including a biopsy.
