At the end of my rope…
I need guidance on where to turn. I have two teenaged cats. They are litter mates and have only been separated twice since birth. I am relocating and cannot take them with me. I am heartbroken and do not with to put them down if I can avoid it. I have searched everywhere but it seems everyone is full.

I am forwarding this to our administration office for their input. This is beyond the scope of this venue.
While I can empathize with your need to relocate, the best thing for these wonderful and loyal siblings is for you to find options for taking them with you. If you are absolutely unable to, No way no how, u exhaust ALL options AND you are able to rehome them before you leave…please consider not adopting in the future as this is a lifelong commitment and relocating is not a reason for abandonment or worse ending their lives. That is actually unfathomable to me that you’d even consider that. I am not trying to be harsh, I’m just surprised that is an option anyone could even consider. As far as “guidance where to turn” — search inside yourself and you should find the answer…
You can place ads up around your area for adoption. Near schools, stores (grocery, Petco, PetSmart, BestBuy- any store where there are a lot of people- even Wholefoods) in a classified paper, online classified (Craigslist.org) and at church. One of your neighbors or friends may see the ads and want to adopt your animal.
I would search no kill shelters in your area or others. Here is an attached list in California. You can also try to foster the cats out after they have been checked up by a vet and are healthy. If the cats are a specific breed you can find a breed specific rescue. Again these lists are online.
