What are good otc meds to help with allergies

Hello I have a 2 year old English bulldog and we are fighting seasonal allergies. She is constantly scratching and licking paws. Benedryl really not helping. And I also give her teramet for bones and joints. Would anything enterfier with this. thanks Tina

Chlorpheniramine may be helpful. It is available in 4 mg. tablets over the counter. A 50 pound dog would take 2 to 4 tablets 2 or 3 times a day. At the Sanctuary we use allergy testing by HESKA to treat our chronic allergic dogs.
