I am sorry your girl and you are having to go through this problem. Yeast infections of the ears in dogs are one of the most difficult things to manage in veterinary medicine. You do not cure this problem. You struggle to get it under control; then struggle to keep it under control. First, an aggressive primary treatment includes appropriate oral antibiotics and topical treatment. In long standing cases corticosteroids to reduce ear canal swelling are often required. Once under control an ear cleanser must be used frequently to keep the ears clean. I do not know of any home remedy that can do this job! Most failures result from discontinuing maintenance treatment when the acute treatment yields results.
